Artist's Statement

My quilts are inspired by the constant motion of the natural world. Some works reflect everyday experiences such as wind, sun and water.  Other works explore motion on the larger scale of galaxies and the expanding universe.  I am also inspired by the complexity of structure and design found at the cellular level .
