GIGAX

Lives in Boston before in Zurich

Gigax crafts fragile parallel universes — imagined territories where social complexity and personal emotions merge. Influenced by postfeminist theory, science fiction, and poetic storytelling, these worlds unfold like modern fairy tales.
Using aged cardboard as canvas, pastel pigments are layered by hand, creating shimmering mirages inhabited by waggish creatures. This tactile approach gives the work a delicate yet raw texture that lures viewers into the narrative.
Beyond painting, Gigax expands the visual language into installations, display cases, and puppetry, transforming spaces into immersive environments. The art sparks dialogue on identity, society, and the fragile interplay between personal and political realms
