Artist's Statement

Reflecting my quest for closeness/ human touch and connectedness, I paint figures in loose sexual narratives/situations: Social dancing (rave dancing); Casual and group sex; Anonymous people in dark places. The paintings reveal energy and the playful fun of temporary connections. 

The style is a blend of Pop and Expressionist Art.
