Artist's Statement

Hello! I’m Allison, an artist specializing in storytelling and people. I’ve always been drawn to art, but recently, I’ve become more dedicated to honing my skills and deepening my understanding of the fundamentals.

My medium varies and changes depending on the story I am telling. While last year I focused greatly on oil painting portraits and still lifes, I now work primarily in oil pastels for pieces I make traditionally. I also love creating fanart from different shows such as Arcane and Avatar, which I complete digitally. I am exploring storytelling and animation further, with a hope to create something more polished one day.

This is my second time participating in Open Studios, and I’m excited to connect with fellow art lovers in the community.
