Artist's Statement

Through intricate hand embroidery, I capture the quiet beauty of daily life. Inspired by small moments of warmth, light, shadows, and nostalgia, my work displays familiar subjects in evocative stitched narratives. A recurring motif is the gallery wall, where I stitch iconic artworks within personal or exhibition spaces, blending art history with intimate scenes.

Using cotton thread on linen-blend fabric, I create depth through a slow, meditative process that honors needlework as both craft and fine art, challenging its historical perception as domestic or decorative work.

At its core, my embroidery explores intimacy and joy found in still moments of reflection, the familiar comfort of home, and the shared experience of art.
