Artist's Statement

My name is Ma Prem Sudip. I work primarily in watercolors and pastels, but I do love oils and acrylics as well. I have been drawing and painting since I was little, and my first focus was painting family portraits and the homes we would move into.  My artistic lens has evolved to become a study of different motif's: color, philosophy, meditation, and intuition. Each study has a hiddden story to tell. Bright beautiful colors and soft edges are inspiring and have healing qualities. I let the colors inform what ends up being the finished work.
