Artist's Statement

Everything I make is based on perception. It is how I began making art and is still the origin and basis for what I do as an artist. Whatever I might add through imagination or content is taken from what affects me.  For me, scrutinizing what I see and the way I see it led to a language that is seemingly endless. The possibilities are enough that I know I will not have the time to pursue many of them. And there are works which will remain only in my thoughts. Some directions compel me and it is into these choices I place my inspiration.
