Artist's Statement

My work is an ode to life, to the irrepressible, primeval, powerful life energy.  It is a celebration of the choice to live and to embrace life and joy in the face of adversity. As Carl Jung said, “You are not what happens to you.  You are what you chose to be”. And I choose to celebrate the infinite force and joy of life.

Mine is a language of colors, alive, exuberant, ebullient, effervescent, expressive, and vibrant.  A language that soares beyond words, that speaks where words fail, words before words, words beyond words, rendering emotions, asking questions, challenging norms. A universal language that transcends boundaries and reaches out to humanity at large. A language with no frontiers, available to all and inclusive of all.
