Artist's Statement

I have been interested in cameras and photographic processes all my life.  While digital imagery has taken over most of my work, I still practice the skills I learned as a teenager with film - hand developing and printing all of my black & white material.  I shoot in a variety of formats, with my current focus on large format photography.  I have also been exploring alternate processes, with a focus on cyanotype printing from film negatives.
