Artist's Statement

For years I have collected and used fabrics to create one-of-a-kind quilts on natural history themes. Among the items I use for inspiration are antiquarian botany and geology images; geological diagrams of phenomena such as plate tectonics and sedimentary sequences; and playful re-imaginings of natural history collections. If you love bugs and rocks, come on by.

I am also making unique retro aprons in lively fabrics.
