Artist's Statement
What do we celebrate, what do we love, what do we present ?
Monique's work utilizes photography, painting and drawings. The studio holds all stages of an artists process and the variable outcomes of experimentation. Realism, traditional medium, and technology converge to produce a wide variety of recognizable images: the Boston skyline, still life, pet portraits, food and simple items from our kitchen which commemorate meals eaten with friends. Her latest body of work is titled "Woods and Flowers" in honor of the natural world and human interaction and perception .
