Artist's Statement

Samantha Paris Estes is a multidisciplinary artist who has over 20 years’ experience in graphic design and fine art. Most of her inspirations originate from a concept in mind, or a meditative practice. These outlets provide her freedom away from branding guidelines and target markets.

Her mixed media pieces are full of texture and layering. Her paintings often reflect emotions and are an organic process. Her design sense comes into play in the color and composition of each piece. When they are all brought together within the painting, it becomes an expressive statement between the viewer and the artist.

Samantha strives to evoke a sense of depth and emotion in her compositions, challenging the viewer to explore their own interpretation of abstract art.
