Artist's Statement

Allison Tanenhaus (she/her) is a New York–born, Somerville–based glitch artist. She specializes in trippy op art, wacky tech mash-ups...and cats.

Allison’s work has been showcased in 26 countries via exhibitions, installations, music videos, and guerrilla street art. Highlights include Boston Cyberarts, SaveArtSpace, and her traveling shows “GlitchKraft” and “Haus Party.”

Allison is a grantee of Somerville’s Visual Art Fellowship and Boston’s Transformative Public Art Program. She is a member of electronic music group Cosmic Lucifer and optical installation duo bent/haus.
