Artist's Statement

I make narrative ceramics focused on the natural world around us. I illustrate my pottery pieces with the creatures who inhabit our wild spaces - owls, rabbits, foxes, and deer - coupled with mushrooms, flowers, and celestial imagery. My collages also portray flora and fauna, morphed together into surreal hybrid creatures.
