Accessible (self reported) Artist's Statement
I loathe having my picture taken, but I have always loved taking photographs. I will photograph anything that catches my fancy. For a while I was obsessed with Acme Ice on Kirkland Street in Cambridge. I loved watching the ice-men load the dry ice into the small cardboard boxes - "smoke" drifting off their shovels. I liked the backdrop of the mountain of enormous blue and white grafitti-covered plastic storage containers at the front of the lot. A cool place to photograph. Pun intended.
