Artist Registration Now Open
Artist registration for the 2026 event is open now through February 15, 2026. All visual arts either living in or maintaining a working studio space in Somerville are eligible to register.
Somerville residents who want to participate but don’t have a place to show may apply to our Community Space program. Community spaces will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Help Us Plan SOS 2026
Planning for Somerville Open Studios 2026 is gearing up and we are seeking your help!
Our next planning meeting will be Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at the studio of Dan Coughlin, 86 Joy Street. We’ll have pizza and drinks at 6:30 pm, with the meeting starting at 7 pm.
Please enter via the yellow door. Look for the SOS sandwich board. Off-street parking is available in front of the building. The studio is also a short walk from the East Somerville Green Line station.
Volunteers Wanted!
Somerville Open Studios is produced each year by a team of committed volunteers, including both participating artists and those who are just interested in nurturing the arts in Somerville. Planning begins in the fall and we can always use people with a variety of skill sets and talents.
